A credit profile that belongs to your company.

Business credit is credit issued in your business name, built on your company’s own profile and score. Approvals are based on the business’s ability to pay, not your personal credit history.

Because it reports to the business bureaus rather than the consumer bureaus, it stays off your personal report. That gives you a second, separate borrowing capacity to fund and grow the business.

Personal vs. business credit

Tied to

Your SSN → the business’s EIN

Reports to

Consumer bureaus → business bureaus

Approval basis

Your history → the company’s record

Typical limits

Standard → often 10–100× higher

Guarantee

Personal → none on qualifying accounts

Lenders check your business credit, even when you don't know it.

When a business owner applies for financing, the business profile is reviewed. A thin or missing profile can quietly get an application declined, often with no explanation. Building it ahead of time keeps the door open: higher limits, faster funding, and no personal assets on the line.

Built for owners ready to separate the two.

LLCs and corporations

You’ve formed a separate legal entity and want credit that lives in the company’s name, not yours.

Growing businesses

You need working capital, vendor terms, and higher limits to fund your next stage of growth.

Protecting personal credit

You want to stop tying every approval to your SSN and keep business balances off your personal report.

Four steps. Each one earns the next.

You start with no profile and climb. Each stage unlocks bigger, more useful credit than the last.

1

Set up business credibility

Align your legal name, EIN, address, phone, licenses and web presence so your business meets the standards lenders and vendors check first.

Foundation

2

Establish your credit reports

Get set up with the business bureaus, Dun & Bradstreet, Experian, and Equifax, so your payment history has somewhere to report and build a score.

3

Build vendor credit

Open starter vendor accounts that extend net terms with no established credit required. Pay on time and your profile takes shape, often within 90 days.

Profile forming

4

Unlock revolving credit

With a profile in place, move up to store cards and then Visa or Mastercard type business credit. Keep using it responsibly and your limits keep climbing.

What owners ask before getting started

To fully separate business credit from personal credit, your business should be its own legal entity, an LLC or corporation, with a Federal Tax ID (EIN). We’ll review your setup and tell you exactly what to put in place first.

Qualifying accounts can be approved on your EIN once your business profile and score are strong enough. Some issuers may still request an SSN. Our system focuses on the vendors and issuers that build EIN-based credit first.

Every business is different, but it often takes about 90 days or less to establish an initial profile and score once your credibility foundation and starter vendor accounts are in place. From there, credit grows as you use and pay it.

Credit repair addresses your personal credit report. Business credit building establishes a separate profile in your company’s name. Many owners do both: a stronger personal profile and a new business profile working together.

We’ll walk you through pricing for the business credit program during your consultation, and help you choose the path that fits where your business is today.
